Reviews Overview

Most Liked

The buffet on Sundays receives rave reviews, emphasizing the variety and value that Zolsha offers. Diners appreciate the friendly service, citing staff members who take the time to engage and recommend dishes. The portion sizes are often praised, ensuring that everyone leaves satisfied. Guests marvel at the quality of vegetarian options, making it a hit among both vegans and omnivores alike. The restaurant's consistent quality and attention to detail make it a go-to for a robust Indian meal.

Complimentary drinks at the end of the meal delight patrons and create a memorable dining atmosphere. Many guests mention their favorite dishes, including the tofu-laden tikka paneer saag and robust karahi, ensuring visitors know what to look for. The lively ambiance adds to its charm, making every visit feel like a special occasion.

Most Disliked

Some diners note that the lack of a clear drinks menu poses a minor inconvenience. Without visible pricing for alcohol, it can be challenging to select beverages to pair with meals. This missed opportunity for enhanced dining might give some potential guests pause.

Another frequent comment revolves around the popularity of the restaurant. While this speaks to its quality, it can lead to a busy atmosphere, particularly on weekend evenings. Those seeking a quieter dining experience may find it a bit overwhelming at peak times. Lastly, parking can be an issue during busy hours, despite free options available nearby. However, these hurdles are minor when weighed against the incredible food and service provided.

Really nice place for an Indian dinner! We visited on a Friday evening and it was quite busy so I recommend booking a table in advance. Decent selection of veggie dishes. Really friendly and helpful staff, great attention to detail. Only downside is no drinks menu, so not sure on the prices of alcohol / drinks. Otherwise great and reasonably priced, will be visiting again!

Not our first visit but this is my first review. Visiting as a table of sixteen for a family members Birthday. First class service from the moment we sat down to the offer of a free Bailey's or Limoncello liquor before leaving. The food was excellent and all delivered hot and cooked perfectly. The staff all had time for a chat and made sure the water, wine and lagers were all topped up regularly as needed. Hot towels at the end as well. All in all a first class service and Indian food. Thank you so much we all had a fantastic evening

A fantastic place to stumble on by chance. Very busy on arrival, but still made time to make sure a couple of “out of towners” were ok. Food was brilliant 👊🏽

Unforgettable first visit to Zolsha restaurant. Outstanding service from Mushtak and Nadeem. Chef's special lamb curry was the best I've ever had. Can't wait to return!

We visited Zolsha as an adult family group for an evening meal in April 2025. We found the food excellent quality, the best we have had for a while, and all the staff were friendly and attentive. Free parking but imagine this gets full at busy nights/times. The restaurant is well presented and modern with a bar lounge area for pre or post meal drinks, or if waiting for a takeaway which seemed popular. We found the pricing good value for the quality. Our only down side was we found the restaurant very noisy, and the tables are quite close together which if you get a drunk and noisy party next to you like we did it ruins it a bit. Having said that, highly recommended and we will certainly be back on a weekday night and for takeaways as it's better than our closest one!
